With project values continuing to increase and larger opportunities entering the pipeline, it is firmly positioned for its next phase of growth. Current and recent projects include Starbucks drive-through developments, industrial facilities, education projects, childcare centres and commercial developments, with future opportunities including mixed-use, retail and large-scale commercial projects.

Your new role
As Project Manager, you'll join the business at a pivotal stage of its growth journey. Working closely with the Commercial Manager and senior leadership team, you'll take ownership of commercial construction projects from pre-construction through to delivery, while helping build the systems, people and processes required for continued expansion. This is far more than a traditional project delivery role. We are seeking a commercially astute and hands-on leader who can manage projects while mentoring junior team members and contributing to the ongoing development of the business. You'll be trusted to lead from the front, build strong client relationships and drive positive project outcomes across safety, programme, quality and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Full project management accountability across safety, cost, quality and programme.
• Managing consultants, subcontractors and client stakeholders.
• Procurement, contract administration and financial management.
• Risk management, reporting and project planning.
• Supporting and mentoring junior Contracts Administrators.
• Working collaboratively with leadership to support future business growth.
• Maintaining and strengthening relationships with repeat clients and industry partners.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven Project Management experience within commercial building construction.
• Strong commercial acumen and contract management capability.
• Experience delivering projects in sectors such as commercial, retail, industrial, education or childcare.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
• A practical, hands-on leadership style with the willingness to remain close to project detail.
• Strong mentoring abilities and a genuine interest in developing junior staff.
• The ability to work within a collaborative, low-hierarchy culture.
• Experience with design & construct projects will be highly regarded.
