Synergie is seeking a Production Team Leader for one of Australia's leading Paint Manufacter's in Clayton.
The important parts:
- Monday – Friday 6am - 2pm
- $40 + leadership allowances ($1.29 p/h)
- Commencing ASAP
What you will be required to do:
A Summary of the role
- Lead and supervise a team of up to 20 production operators
- Monitor and drive KPIs including productivity, quality and safety
- Oversee and improve production processes and workflow
- Manage difficult conversations, performance management and team concerns
- Provide guidance, training and support to team members
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards
Production Duties:
- Operate and monitor automated production and mixing equipment
- Assist with colour matching, batching and quality checks
- Perform labelling, filling and packaging of paint products
- Carry out machine calibration, cleaning and changeovers
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
To be successful in the role you will:
- Previous team leader or supervisory experience in manufacturing or production (5S standard)
- Strong understanding of production processes and KPI management
- Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively
- Confident communicator who can handle challenging conversations
- Monday – Friday availability, including weekends if required
- Ability to lift up to 18kgs
- Proficient English literacy skills including reading and writing
- Ability to clear a Police Check and Drug and Alcohol test
- Have full working rights in Australia
