Our client is seeking experienced Boilermakers, Welders, Riggers and Mechanical Fitters for an immediate start on a 5 week shutdown project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team working on heavy industrial maintenance, with competitive rates and the potential for ongoing work.
If you have shutdown experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment, this role offers a variety of hands-on work across gearbox installations, pulley replacements, mechanical maintenance and fabrication.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out gearbox installation, maintenance and repairs
- Removing and installing pulleys
- Performing mechanical maintenance and shutdown work
- Completing rigging and lifting operations
- Undertaking general fabrication and welding duties
- Working safely and collaboratively within the shutdown team
What you'll need:
- Relevant trade qualification or applicable High Risk Work Licence
- Previous experience working on gearboxes, pulleys, conveyors or heavy industrial equipment
- Current White Card
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Availability for an immediate start
