Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will handle a broad mix of corporate advisory and commercial matters. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts.
• Respond and assist with responding to various queries from across the business, covering a broad range of legal areas such as competition, privacy, IP, disputes, employment, and contract interpretation.
• Providing regulatory, legal risk and compliance advice.
• Supporting the business on corporate advisory and group legal matters.

About you

You will be a corporate and commercial lawyer with 8+ years’ PQE. Ideally, you will have gained experience in a well-regarded law firm and/or in-house. You will bring demonstrated skills in contract negotiation and drafting, commercial advice and corporate transactions.

You will have the ability to work independently with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a high level of commercial awareness will support your success in this role.
