Job Description

We are seeking dedicated sessional lecturers in the Graduate Certificate of Coaching who are passionate about their field. The Graduate Certificate of Applied Coaching is a fully online course, so educators can be located anywhere in Australia.

Responsibilities include:

  • Teaching in any of the four units:  Fundamentals of Coaching Theory and Practice; Coaching for Professional Wellbeing and Resilience; Coaching for Sustainable Leadership; and Applied Coaching Skills
  • Teaching in an online lecture/tutorial, including engaging with unit content, facilitating observed coaching practice sessions, and engaging with students through online forums.
  • Marking assignments and performing administrative tasks associated with the classes.

Qualifications

The candidates we seek will ideally have:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with all levels of the College
  • Excellent scholarly expertise and/or industry expertise
  • Experience in coaching education and/or mentor coaching is an advantage

Candidates must possess the following essential criteria: 

  • At least five years of coaching experience
  • A PCC or MCC credential
  • Completed the ICF Online Assessor training course or is prepared to complete the training.
  • A postgraduate qualification (preferably a master’s degree, but at least a postgraduate certificate).  Candidates currently enrolled in a postgraduate course will be considered.
