Maintenance Electrician

Our client supplies leading national food brands and supermarkets and processes over 180,000 units daily using advanced automation and deboning technologies. About the Role
This hands-on role supports the ongoing reliability and performance of a large-scale processing facility. Working within a skilled maintenance team, you will carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and improve operational efficiency.
- Conducting pre-operational checks and completing factory start-ups
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance tasks
- Promptly resolving breakdowns to minimise equipment downtime
- Carrying out new electrical installations and running new circuits
- Using PLC and SCADA systems to monitor and resolve issues
Roster Options:
- Monday to Friday, 5:45am – 2:15pm + monthly RDO
- 5-day roster including weekends (e.g. Thu–Mon, Fri–Tue, or Thu, Fri, Sat, Mon, & Tue)
Skills & Experience
- Electrical Fitter Mechanic qualification
- Experience in industrial maintenance environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work autonomously
- Current LVR/CPR, Open Driver’s Licence, and full Australian working rights

- On-shift overtime: 200%
- Off-shift overtime: 150%x first 3 hrs, 200% thereafter
- On-call allowance: $180 per weekend (approx. every 3 weeks)
