An established automotive dealership is seeking an experienced Sales Manager following a long-serving manager’s retirement and an internal management move.

The business is performing well and is looking for someone who can build on that foundation. You’ll lead a small sales team, work closely with the Business Manager and take an active role in helping customers buy.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily sales activity across new and used vehicles

• Supporting sales staff with customer enquiries, negotiations and closing

• Coaching the team to improve selling skills and conversion

• Driving sales volume and profitability

• Maintaining consistent follow-up and a strong customer experience

• Working with the Business Manager to support a smooth sales process

We’re looking for someone with proven automotive sales management experience who can lead by example. You’ll need strong closing skills, the ability to develop others and a practical approach to getting results.

Experience across both new and used vehicles will be highly regarded. The dealership uses Titan, so familiarity with this system would also be useful.

The package comprises a $90,000 annual retainer plus anticipated commission of $80,000–$90,000, providing estimated annual earnings of $170,000–$180,000 depending on experience and sales performance.
