RV Service Centre is a growing caravan and RV repair business specialising in servicing, repairs, maintenance, upgrades, insurance work, and accessory installations for caravans, campers, motorhomes, and recreational vehicles.
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Caravan & RV Service Technician/Mechanic to join our team.
About the Role
This is a full-time position for a hands-on technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Your duties will include:
- Diagnosing mechanical and technical faults in caravans, campers, and RVs
- Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
- Performing repairs to caravan components and systems
- Installing and fitting caravan accessories and upgrades
- Completing chassis, brake, suspension, wheel bearing, and coupling inspections
- Diagnosing and repairing 12V electrical systems
- Conducting basic plumbing and gas system maintenance
- Completing insurance and warranty repairs
- Undertaking pre-delivery inspections
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop
- Accurately recording completed work and repair reports
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will have:
- A trade qualification in Mechanical Technology, Automotive Repair, or a related field
- Previous experience working as a mechanic, caravan technician, RV technician, or service technician
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of caravan systems, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components
- High attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A current driver's licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
