- Preparation of steel by measuring, marking, and cutting rebar or mesh using hand/power tools.
- Fabrication of reo steel, wire mesh, or pre-welded cages for precast concrete products.
- Reading and interpreting basic drawings and maintaining general workshop housekeeping.

Our client is a major supplier in the production of large precast concrete products used in developing innovative site-specific solutions that impact stormwater management for the environment. They are currently seeking experienced Steel fixers to join their team.
What you could be doing!
Steel Fixers
- Preparation - measuring, marking, cutting rebar or mesh using hand/power tools
- Fabrication - tying reo steel, wire mesh, or pre-welded cages for precast concrete products
- Read and interpret basic drawings
- General workshop housekeeping

- Above Award Casual Rates with overtime penalties – where applicable
- Steel Fixers - $50.88ph based on proven experience
- Healthy work-life balance: Monday to Friday roughly 40 hours per week
- Ongoing opportunity, with views to permanency after six months
- Staplyton based role
What we’ll need from you!
- Previous experience in a similar environment
- Drivers Licence and reliable transport
- Be able work autonomously with a strong safety focus
- Proficient in the use of hand & power tools
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Immediate start required - be available for a meet and greet on site
- Full working rights in Australia.
