We’re looking for two experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a close-knit workshop and field service crew based in Archerfield.
Hours & Pay
- Monday–Thursday: 6:00am–2:30pm
- Friday: 6:00am–12:00pm
- Overtime available regularly, paid at double time

What You’ll Be Doing
- Strip, overhaul and repair drive system components
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on large machinery and equipment
- Drill, tap, fit and assemble parts to spec
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Operate fixed plant equipment (drill presses, lathes, grinders)
- Carry out welding, hot works and cutting (oxy)
- Complete final inspection documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, organised workshop
What You’ll Bring
- Trade qualification (essential)
- Solid hands-on mechanical experience in a similar role
- A safety-first mindset and a strong work ethic
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport (preferred)
- Additional tickets/licences highly regarded but not essential
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
