Part Time Accounts Officer - 3 days per week

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Officer to join a busy finance team on a temporary, part-time basis.
This role would suit someone who enjoys a busy environment, is confident working across both AR and AP, and can hit the ground running. This opportunity is to commence on the 8th September until the 16th October, working 3 days per week (Tues - Thurs)

Key responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable

• Managing high-volume collections and following up outstanding accounts
• Processing allocations and banking
• Completing account reconciliations
• Responding to customer and internal queries
• Assisting with general AR administration and maintaining accurate records

Accounts Payable

• Entering and processing supplier invoices
• Chasing internal approvals
• Preparing invoices and payment information for payment runs
• Assisting with general AP administration as required

About you

• Previous experience in a similar AR/AP or transactional finance role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working with high volumes and deadlines
• Confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders
• Good reconciliation and problem-solving skills
• Experience with MYOB is highly desirable but not mandatory 
• Available to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday throughout the assignment
