Hays Recruitment is seeking experienced trade-qualified personnel with proven mining project and camp experience for project works at a major North West Queensland mine site.
Your new role
This is an initial short-term project opportunity, with potential for ongoing work into next year.
The opportunity is specifically suited to tradespeople with experience across mine site projects, construction, installations, upgrades and other project based scopes. You will need to be flexible and comfortable assisting across different project works rather than being limited solely to trade specific duties. A key upcoming scope includes the installation of a TSF Water Treatment Plant, alongside a range of other site project works.

What's on offer:
- $65/hr for trade-qualified roles
- 7 days on / 7 days off
- Wednesday to Wednesday roster
- 88-hour working week
- 4 hours paid travel on departure day
- FIFO from Townsville or Brisbane
- DIDO/BIBO options from Mount Isa and Cloncurry
- Short-term project work with potential to continue into next year
- Variety of mine site project work
- Opportunity to work across different project scopes
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant trade qualification
- Proven mining project experience
- Previous mine site and camp experience
- Current MMQ/RSHQ medical - essential
- Experience across construction, installation, upgrades or similar project works
- Relevant licences and tickets for your trade
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary Projects Team
- Willingness to assist across different project scopes where required
- Strong commitment to safety
- Ability to complete all required site onboarding requirements
