The Opportunity
Stellar Recruitment is partnering with several established mining organisations across regional Queensland and New South Wales, with current and upcoming opportunities for Mine Accountants, Site Accountants and Senior Accountants.

The Roles
Depending on the opportunity, responsibilities may include:

• Financial and management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis.
• Month-end processes, reconciliations and operational performance reporting.
• Capital expenditure, project accounting and cost control.
• Partnering with site leadership and operational teams to support commercial decision-making.
• Driving improvements across financial processes, systems and reporting.

About You
We're interested in speaking with accounting professionals who bring:

• Experience in financial accounting, management accounting or commercial finance.
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• CA/CPA qualification completed or underway (highly regarded, not essential).
• Strong Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems.
• A commercially minded approach and confidence engaging with operational stakeholders.

Experience across mining, resources, construction, energy, manufacturing or other heavy industry environments will be highly regarded. However, we're equally interested in speaking with ambitious accountants from broader commercial backgrounds looking to make their move into mining.
