About the Role
Clata Kitchens is seeking an experienced and motivated Cabinetmaker to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling and installing custom cabinetry and joinery products for residential and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.
- Manufacture and assemble custom kitchens, wardrobes, vanities and other joinery products.
- Measure, cut, shape and finish timber, laminates and other materials.
- Operate woodworking machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Install completed cabinetry and joinery at client sites.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, applicants should have:
- Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology or equivalent qualification.
- At least two years of relevant experience as a Cabinetmaker.
- Demonstrated experience in custom cabinetry and joinery manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical plans and drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Current driver's licence preferred.
