Join Cire Services as our Maintenance Supervisor and help us create safe, welcoming spaces for our community. From early learning centres to schools and community hubs, you’ll manage our maintenance crew to keep our sites looking their best and functioning smoothly.

  • Full-time fixed term position up to December 2027
  • Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.00pm
  • Based in Lilydale and Yarra Junction, requires regular travel across our Yarra Ranges and South Eastern sites

About the Role
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide direct leadership and support our maintenance team to ensure Cire's facilities remain safe, compliant, functional and well-presented. Working across a diverse portfolio of sites, you will coordinate maintenance activities, respond to operational issues, oversee contractors where required, and provide hands-on support for building and property repairs.

This is a practical leadership role where you'll balance team supervision, planning and administration with some hands-on maintenance work.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prioritise maintenance requests through the CMMS
  • Support and mentor the maintenance team to achieve quality outcomes
  • Undertake hands-on building and property maintenance as required
  • Conduct regular site inspections and identify preventative maintenance needs
  • Support the Facilities Manager with capital works and improvement projects
  • Monitor service delivery and ensure agreed service levels are achieved
  • Assist with sourcing materials, obtaining quotes and managing maintenance budgets
  • Ensure safety hazards, incidents and compliance matters are addressed and reported
  • Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders across all sites
  • Carry out daily toolbox meetings

About You
You're an experienced maintenance leader who enjoys rolling up your sleeves and supporting your team to get the job done. You bring a practical approach to maintenance operations, a strong focus on safety and compliance, and the ability to coordinate people, contractors and resources to keep facilities operating effectively.

  • Proven experience leading maintenance or facilities teams
  • At least 5 years' experience in building or facilities maintenance
  • Trade qualification or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong planning, prioritisation and coordination skills
  • Experience managing contractors and service providers
  • Working knowledge of workplace safety and compliance requirements
  • Experience with CMMS or maintenance management systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Current Victorian Driver Licence
