The Opportunity

We are excited to be opening a brand-new Montessori Academy centre in Bankstown, located at 517 Chapel Road, Bankstown NSW 2200.

As we prepare to open our doors, we're looking for passionate Certificate III and Diploma qualified Room Assistants and Room Leaders to join our new team and be part of building a positive centre culture from day one.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a brand-new centre, help establish strong routines and practices, and create a welcoming Montessori environment for children, families and educators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively as part of a passionate team to provide high-quality education and care.
  • Build positive, nurturing relationships with children and families.
  • Support the planning and implementation of engaging educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming learning environment.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, service policies and child safety practices.
  • Complete observations and contribute to children's learning documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding children's learning and wellbeing.
  • Support the implementation of Montessori principles throughout daily practice.
  • Contribute to establishing a positive team culture within our brand-new centre.

About You

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Sound understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and EYLF.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional care and learning experiences for every child.
  • A positive and proactive approach to being part of a new centre opening.
