We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our team.

As a key member of our sales operation, you will be the first point of contact for many of our trade and retail customers, helping them find the right solutions for their projects while delivering outstanding service every day.

You’ll work closely with customers, suppliers, warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time, whilst building long-term customer relationships that drive repeat business.

Whether you’re already experienced in building supplies or looking to further develop your sales career within the construction industry, this role offers genuine opportunities for growth.

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare competitive quotations and follow up opportunities.
  • Provide product information and technical guidance across a broad range of building materials.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade customers and builders.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Maintain accurate customer, quote and sales records.
  • Contribute to branch sales growth and customer retention initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy helping customers, solving problems and working in a fast-paced team environment.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Experience in building supplies, timber, hardware, construction products or a related industry.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Confidence building relationships with trade customers and contractors.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Previous sales or customer service experience within the building or construction industry will be highly regarded but is not essential for the right candidate.
