Synergie Australia is seeking experienced Civil Construction Labourers for a State Government Contract delivering high-quality road maintenance and infrastructure projects across Central Queensland. Suited to Rockhampton locals meeting at the Depot Monday morning to travel out with Crews to the projects in and around Central Queensland, accommodation and meals included.
The important parts:
- Roster: 10/4
- Hours: Up to 12 hours per day
- Based from Rockhampton working 10 days on regional projects - accommodation included, take your own meals and you will be paid meal allowance - extra $1000 tax free
- Pay: $42.96 – $44.15 per hour + overtime + allowances
- Ongoing work with a supportive and safety-focused team
What you will be required to do:
As a Civil Construction Labourer, you’ll play a hands-on role in road maintenance and civil works. Duties include:
- Patching potholes, site prep, and road replacement
- Digging, raking, lifting, and shovelling
- Using hand tools, whacker packers, and other equipment
- Installing signage, silt fences, and geosynthetic materials
- Assisting with site clean-up and measurements
- Operating plant (rollers, compactors, excavators) if ticketed
- Driving trucks and transporting materials if licensed
- Supporting the crew and following supervisor instructions
- Adhering to strict safety procedures and PPE requirements
To be successful in the role you will:
- Hold a current White Card
- Hold an MR Licence (or be willing to obtain within 3 months)
- Have RII civil tickets (highly desirable)
- Be willing to work away if required
- Be willing to participate in an on-call roster
- Pass a full pre-employment medical
- Be reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
- Have full working rights in Australia and reliable transport to get to site
