The Role

We are looking for Personal Care Workers (PCWs) to join our Community Health and Care team on a casual basis across the Hepburn region, including Daylesford, Hepburn Springs, Creswick, Clunes, Trentham and surrounding communities. They help clients stay connected and feel supported by assisting with daily activities, personal care, and community engagement. 

• Assist clients with daily activities according to their needs and choices
• Work with clients one-on-one within their home to live their best lives and maintain relationships
• Assist clients with personal care or domestic duties in their homes
• Assist clients to keep connected to their communities through activities they love

About you

• Completed or currently studying a Cert III or higher in Individual Support or a related qualification. If you have completed the first year of your nursing studies, and have completed your placements, you will be a qualified Care Worker. 
• A genuine passion for caring and ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation
• Your own reliable vehicle, current driver’s licence and comprehensive car insurance, as you will drive between clients’ homes and may transport clients as required
• Willingness to travel between clients across the Hepburn region and potentially support multiple clients throughout the day
