The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for a Site Engineer with 1–2 years’ civil construction experience to join a growing contractor delivering residential subdivision projects across Melbourne.
About the Role
You will work closely with the Project Manager and Site Supervisor, supporting the delivery of subdivision projects from earthworks through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the delivery of residential subdivision projects
- Assisting with bulk earthworks, drainage, sewer and stormwater
- Managing subcontractors and suppliers
- Conducting quality assurance and site inspections
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation
- Assisting with project programming and planning
- Preparing quantities, variations and progress claims
- Ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to specification
- Liaising with consultants, clients and site teams
About You
We are looking for a Civil Engineer with 1–2 years of Australian civil construction experience, ideally within subdivisions or land development.
You will have:
- A Civil Engineering degree
- 1–2 years’ experience in civil construction
- Exposure to subdivision or land development projects
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A practical, hands-on approach to site engineering
- The ability to work effectively with supervisors, subcontractors and project teams
- A strong desire to develop and progress your career within the civil construction industry
