Your new role
As the Building Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential building, ensuring it is maintained to a high standard and that residents, contractors and stakeholders receive exceptional service.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting routine site inspections and coordinating both preventative and reactive maintenance work.
  • Managing contractor attendance, service bookings and maintenance schedules.
  • Processing work orders and ensuring service requests are actioned efficiently.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for residents, strata committees, contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinating building services and ensuring works are completed safely and to a high standard.
  • Maintaining accurate records, documentation and compliance-related information.
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the property and identifying opportunities for improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Building Manager or Strata Building Manager position.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using property management or facilities management systems such as MYBOS, BuildingLink, StrataMax or similar will be highly regarded.
  • Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to provide a current police clearance.
  • Full Australian working rights.
