WHAT YOU'LL DO
As part of our pastry team, you'll be involved in the daily preparation and production of our extensive range of sweets and baked goods.
You will:
- Prepare a wide variety of traditional Greek and contemporary cakes, pastries, biscuits, breads and savoury products.
- Produce pastry fillings, creams and other components from established recipes.
- Decorate cakes, glaze pastries and finish products to our presentation and quality standards.
- Follow daily production schedules and established procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness and organisation.
- Work closely with our pastry chefs and wider kitchen team to meet the demands of a busy, high-volume business.

THE PERSON WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience matters, but we're equally interested in your attitude, work ethic and the pride you take in what you produce.
You'll be someone who understands that a great pastry kitchen relies on more than individual talent. It takes teamwork, organisation, consistency and people who are prepared to put in the effort, particularly when things get busy.
You don't cut corners when there's pressure to get things done, and you don't settle for a product that isn't up to standard. You understand that every cake, biscuit and pastry leaving our kitchen represents the reputation we've spent decades building.
Most importantly, you enjoy what you do and want to be part of a team that shares that passion.
You'll ideally bring:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a qualified Pastry Chef or Pastry Cook.
- A genuine passion for pastry, baking and creating quality products.
- Knowledge and experience in traditional Greek pastries, biscuits and desserts — highly regarded.
- Experience working in a busy, high-volume commercial pastry kitchen.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining consistent standards.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and a team-first approach.
- The confidence to work independently while contributing to the wider team.
- Availability for 6 am starts and weekend shifts as part of a regular roster.
- Full Australian working rights.
