We currently have an opportunity to join the Smith’s Snackfood Company on our Afternoon shift as a Finished Case Attendant.
Overview
- Location: Regency Park
- Shift: Afternoon Shift (Monday-Thursday 2:20pm to 10:20pm, Friday 12noon to 6:00pm)
- Permanent Part Time
- Selection Process: Phone Conversation - Interview - Online Testing - Background and Pre Employment Medical Checks - Decision
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery that erects our cardboard cartons and packs our snack food products
- Manual packing of snack food products into cardboard cartons
- Quality control of packets, date codes and cartons
- Conduct and participate in audits and inspections
- Cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas
Qualifications
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing or food preparation environment (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
- Ability to prioritise and organise multiple work tasks in a safe and professional manner
- Knowledge of food safety principles and practices
- Strong communication skills with reading and numerical comprehension skill
