Expertech is currently looking for an experienced IT Program Lead to take ownership of a major technology integration following the acquisition of a business by a global energy organisation.

This is a senior, client-facing role responsible for leading the integration end to end, from planning and governance through to execution. You will establish the integration roadmap, coordinate multiple workstreams, manage risks and dependencies, and provide clear progress updates to senior client executives.
The successful candidate will bring proven experience leading IT integration through at least one M&A transaction, combined with the consulting background and stakeholder management skills to make an immediate impact.

This is a 6-12 month fixed-term contract, based in Melbourne, with an ASAP start. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with some time in the Melbourne office required to support collaboration, stakeholder engagement and programme delivery.

Essential Skills and experience

  • Proven experience leading IT integration for at least one merger or acquisition.
  • Strong consulting background, with experience operating in client-facing environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex IT integration plans and roadmaps.
  • Experience establishing programme governance, reporting, risk management and dependency tracking.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior executives and business leaders.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple technical work streams and maintain alignment across delivery teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical matters into clear business outcomes.
  • Ability to operate autonomously, resolve issues and maintain delivery momentum in a complex integration environment.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience in the energy, utilities or critical infrastructure sectors.
  • Exposure to environments where IT and operational technology (OT) operate side by side.
  • Experience integrating technology environments following a business acquisition.
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms, identity, workplace technology and infrastructure integration.

Why apply

  • Lead a high-impact, end-to-end IT integration following a major acquisition.
  • Work directly with senior client executives and influence key integration decisions.
  • Take ownership of programme governance, delivery strategy and execution.
  • Join a global energy organisation during a significant period of business transformation.
  • Secure a 6-12 month contract with an ASAP start.

If you are an experienced IT Program Lead with a strong consulting background and a track record of delivering technology integrations, we would like to hear from you. This is an urgent position, so apply now by uploading now by uploading your resume through the link.
