About Our Client
Our client is a leading educational institution seeking a reliable Grounds Person to assist with the maintenance of its college grounds, sporting facilities and sports fields.
What You Will Be Doing
Working alongside the Head of Grounds, you will help maintain the Colleges grounds and sports turf facilities to a high standard.
Duties will include:
- Mowing, edging and maintaining lawns and sports fields
- Irrigation, watering and fertilising turf areas
- Line marking and preparing ovals for sporting activities
- Spraying and aerating turf as required
- Maintaining gardening, groundskeeping and machinery equipment
- Ensuring grounds and sporting facilities are safe, clean and well presented
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am 2:00pm/2:30pm
What You Will Need
- Previous grounds maintenance, gardening or landscaping experience
- Experience operating groundskeeping machinery and equipment
- Ability to undertake physical outdoor work
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen, if required
- Must have current WWC Check
