Your new role

We are seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join a civil operations team in the Mirani area. Working Monday to Friday, you will operate loaders and backhoes across road construction and maintenance projects, with a strong focus on unsealed road networks.
You will also be required to safely drive plant and equipment on-road between worksites when necessary. Depending on your tickets and experience, you may operate additional equipment, including rollers, while assisting the wider crew with civil construction and maintenance activities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Current Loader and Backhoe tickets
• Demonstrated experience operating loaders and backhoes
• Previous experience working on unsealed roads
• Ability and experience driving plant on-road when required
• Current Driver's Licence
• Construction White Card
• Previous civil construction or road maintenance experience
• Strong commitment to safe plant operation and workplace safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a civil crew
• Roller ticket and operating experience highly regarded
• Additional plant tickets and operating experience highly regarded

What you'll get in return

In return, you'll receive an attractive hourly rate of $40.16 - $42.34 per hour plus penalties, depending on experience and classification.
