Salary: $75,000- $85,000 per annum plus superannuation
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy Subway restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient restaurant operations, maintaining high standards of customer service and food quality, and leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant.
- Manage and supervise staff, including recruitment, training, rostering, and performance management.
- Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained at all times.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure compliance with Subway standards and food safety requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and maintain adequate stock supplies.
- Manage restaurant budgets, cash handling procedures, banking, and financial reporting.
- Analyse sales performance and implement strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food hygiene, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure uninterrupted restaurant operations.
- Implement promotional activities and local store marketing initiatives to increase sales and customer engagement.
- Monitor labour costs and productivity to achieve business objectives.
Skills and Experience
- At least 1 year of relevant management experience in a restaurant, cafe, fast-food, or hospitality environment, or a relevant qualification.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience with staff rostering, inventory control, and financial management.
- Sound knowledge of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
