Supervisor opportunity supporting HME Collision Avoidance System conversions within a major mining operation

Our client is seeking an experienced Supervisor to join a project team within a major mining operation. This opportunity will suit a strong maintenance-focused supervisor with previous experience working in large-scale mining environments. The project involves Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) Collision Avoidance System (CAS) conversions, with flexibility for candidates to DIDO or FIFO from Brisbane.

Your new roleIn this role, you will provide frontline supervision and support the successful delivery of HME Collision Avoidance System conversions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising day-to-day project activities across the HME conversion program
• Coordinating personnel and maintenance activities to support project delivery
• Overseeing work to ensure activities are completed safely and efficiently
• Supporting the planning and execution of HME modification and conversion works
• Monitoring progress and assisting with the achievement of project requirements
• Working closely with site stakeholders, maintenance personnel and project teams
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance and site procedures

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a Supervisor or similar leadership position within miningStrong maintenance experience, ideally involving Heavy Mobile EquipmentExperience within site-based maintenance or project environmentsStrong safety focus and proven ability to effectively coordinate a teamExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsCollision Avoidance System experience is advantageous but not essentialCurrent S11 and CBM
