Business Services Manager

The purpose of the role of Business Services Manager is to manage and co-ordinate the Business Services Team and deliver accounting services to your allocated Business Services clients.

Core to the position are the following tools.

–        Workflow and Billing Spreadsheet

–        Xero Practice Manager

–        Xero Tax

–        FYI Docs

–        Microsoft SharePoint

Key Responsibilities & Activities

• The direct reporting function for team accounts is to their team Manager/Senior Manager. This reporting deals with Client related matters.
• Weekly workflow Meeting held each Monday and conducted under the standard Agenda.
• Daily liaising to ensure that there are no issues that could prevent the accountant from undertaking their role.
• Client Meetings (Exit Meetings, Tax Planning Meeting, and other agreed meetings regarding consulting activities).
• Phone calls regarding on-going advice and compliance queries.
• Emails largely relating to administration of the client compliance and some written advice.

About You

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in accounting
• High level of Financial Reporting, Financial Analysis, and Budget Management skills
• Experience in preparing and analysing financial statements
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• CPA or CA certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
