Mechanical Service Technician
- Responsible for interpreting schematics and technical documentation.
- Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems in mobile and industrial plants.
- Assembling, installing, and commissioning new hydraulic plumbing.
McCullochs Hydraulic Engineers currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Mechanical Service Technician to join our Bendigo based team in a Full Time role.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Interpreting schematics and relevant technical documentation
- Repairing hydraulic cylinders, valves, pumps and motors
- Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, control and drive system faults in mobile and industrial plant
- Perform basic low voltage electrical diagnosis and repair
- Assembling, installing and commissioning new hydraulic plumbing
- Logging service records, recording test results and maintaining logs of all completed works
Experience in the following will be highly regarded:
- Mechanical experience on Mobile Plant & Equipment.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems.
- Able to inspect, locate and diagnose faults.
- Service, pre-deliver, modify and repair industrial, agricultural and earthmoving equipment.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and licences:
- Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications.
- C class car license.
- Forklift Licence.
