    About the Role
    As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to NDIS participants in their homes and throughout the community. Every day is different and may include:

    Assisting with personal care and daily living activities.

    Supporting participants with community access, appointments and social activities.

    Encouraging independence and skill development.

    Assisting with meal preparation and household tasks.

    Administering or assisting with medication (where appropriately trained).

    Completing accurate case notes and documentation.

    Following individual support plans and positive behaviour support strategies.

    Working collaboratively with participants, families and the wider support team.

    What We're Looking For
    We're seeking people who are:

    Compassionate, patient and genuinely enjoy helping others.

    Reliable with excellent communication skills.

    Flexible and available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and public holidays.

    Able to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.

    Committed to providing high-quality, person-centred supports.

    Previous disability support experience, Teacher Aideswho are ready for a change of pace but still wants to make a difference arehighly regarded; however, we also welcome applicants who have the right attitude and willingness to learn.

    Essential Requirements
    To be considered, you will have or be eligible to have:

    Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

    Current Queensland Driver Licence.

    Reliable, comprehensively insured motor vehicle.

    Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.

    Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or willingness to obtain.

    National Police Check

    Current medication competency (or willingness to complete training).

    Smartphone for rosters, communication and documentation.

    Qualifications such as a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability), Community Services or similar are desirable but not essential.
