About this Opportunity
We are seeking a Process Operator Mixer to join the team in Harvey.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and blending dairy ingredients to ensure products are manufactured to specification and ready for production. You will have a strong focus on quality and safety and be able to work as part of an effective team. You will have a proactive and positive attitude with the ability to deliver high-quality work.
Previous experience in food manufacturing, ingredient preparation, batching or process operations is highly regarded, but not essential.
Key responsibilities of the role are:
- Prepare and accurately mix ingredients in accordance with production schedules and product specifications
- Monitor mixing processes to ensure product quality, consistency and compliance with standards
- Complete production, quality and safety documentation accurately
- Conduct pre-operational checks and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use
- Maintain high hygiene standards and perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required
- Minimise product loss and report equipment issues, quality concerns or safety hazards promptly
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in food manufacturing, ingredient batching, mixing or process operations
- A strong commitment to quality, food safety and workplace safety
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes, procedures and specifications accurately
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and overtime as required
