Part-Time Boat Ramp Survey Interviewer
Location: Weipa, QLD
We are seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Boat Ramp Survey Interviewer to assist with research and monitoring of recreational fishing in the Weipa region. Your role will be to engage with fishermen and the general public at local boat ramps, record catch details, and accurately identify fish species.

Work 2 weekend shifts (Sat or Sunday) and 2 Fridays per month: approx 4 shifts per month - 4 hour shifts
What we’re looking for:

Genuine interest in fishing and marine life

Strong knowledge of local fish species and confident identification skills

Excellent communication skills and confidence in approaching members of the public

Reliability and attention to detail

MUST be an Australian citizen or permanent resident to apply for this role. (Working Holiday Visas will not be considered as this role will be ongoing and may lead to permanency).
