We are looking for skilled Gardeners to join our client in Moreton Island, Queensland on a full time basis. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform gardening, landscaping and trade-related tasks to support daily departmental operations.
• Maintain and develop garden areas, ensuring they meet required standards and presentation.
• Operate, maintain and service gardening machinery, tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Train and guide new and existing staff on machinery, gardening procedures and safe work practices.
• Coordinate daily staff activities, including work allocations, rosters, and time sheets.
• Apply quality control procedures and identify, report and address work quality issues or equipment faults.
• Maintain workplace health and safety standards, including hazard identification and compliance with safe work practices.
• Manage workshop operations, including equipment maintenance, stock control, servicing schedules and cleanliness.
• Support staff supervision and development, including recruitment, performance management, training and team coordination.
• Prepare reports and budgets, communicate with management, and exercise sound judgment while working independently or as part of a team.

• Follow all workplace health and safety rules and procedures.
• Minimise safety hazards through proper work practices.
• Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
• Identify and report faults, hazards, and safety issues promptly.
• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV, or at least three years of relevant experience is required.

Salary range of $75,000-$95,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
