Techforce Personnel is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter for our client based at Kanmantoo, SA. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will work closely with the maintenance team to support operations and play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and reliable mechanical maintenance across site.

About the Role
- Permanent full-time position
- On-site role based at Kanmantoo, SA
- 7:7 Day/Night roster or 5:2 Day roster available
- Planned and unplanned mechanical maintenance
- Mining and fixed plant environment
- Support equipment reliability and operational performance
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned and unplanned maintenance with safety as the highest priority
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults to improve equipment reliability and longevity
- Work collaboratively with Processing, Metallurgy, Mining and Engineering teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through maintaining and reviewing Safe Work Instructions
- Follow governance, safety and sustainability policies and procedures
- Contribute to team development through active participation and performance reviews

You are a safety-focused and results-driven Maintenance Fitter with strong initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You thrive in team environments, communicate effectively across departments, and take pride in delivering high-quality maintenance outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- Trade Qualification – Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering
- Current Driver's Licence
- Current Working at Heights certificate
- Current Confined Space certificate
- Experience delivering planned and unplanned mechanical maintenance
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
Highly Regarded
- Crane, Dogging, Rigging or Scissor Lift licences
- Overhead Gantry Crane experience
- Telescopic Handler ticket
- Senior First Aid certificate
- Experience using SkyTrust and ERP Pulse
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sound computer and mathematical skills
- Ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines
Pre-Employment Requirements
