Operations Manager - Multi-Venue Hospitality

The Venue
An established hospitality destination is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join its leadership team and play a key role in the day-to-day performance and future growth of a diverse hospitality operation.

With multiple food and beverage venues and a boutique hotel operation, this is an opportunity for a commercially astute hospitality leader who thrives on variety, enjoys being hands-on and knows how to bring teams together to deliver outstanding results.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll oversee operational delivery across the precinct, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, consistent standards and a positive team culture.
You’ll work closely with Venue Managers, Department Heads and the Executive Chef to turn business strategy into action, improve operational efficiencies and ensure each part of the business performs at its best.
This is a visible, hands-on leadership role. You’ll be out among the teams, supporting service, attending functions and major events, resolving challenges and ensuring the operation runs smoothly across every department.

The Role

• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple food and beverage venues and accommodation facilities.
• Lead, mentor and support a large, diverse team across multiple venues and departments.
• Maintain exceptional service standards, presentation, cleanliness and guest experience.
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, payroll and departmental expenditure.
• Analyse reports to identify opportunities to improve profitability, revenue and operational efficiency.
• Work with Marketing, Events and Venue Managers to deliver promotions, activations and events that drive business.
• Contribute to strategic planning, budgets, capital expenditure and the delivery of business objectives.

The Right Candidate
We’re looking for an accomplished hospitality operator who can balance the bigger commercial picture with the practical demands of running a busy, multi-faceted operation.
You’ll ideally have:

• A solid track record in hospitality operations management, ideally within a complex, multi-venue environment.
• Strong food and beverage expertise, with the ability to drive profitability through effective cost control and margin management.
• Comprehensive understanding of hospitality operations, including team leadership, service delivery, financial management, systems and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate large teams and departmental managers across multiple operations.
• Commercially minded, with strong financial analysis skills and the ability to identify and implement performance improvements.
• Familiarity with hospitality management technology and digital operational systems.
• Up-to-date understanding of WA liquor licensing, food safety and workplace health and safety obligations.
• Holds a current WA Approved Manager’s Card and valid WA driver’s licence.
• Flexible and committed to hospitality management hours
