Ventura’s bus drivers provide an essential service by keeping the community moving. With no day the same as the last, our bus drivers deliver a range of bus services including public and school routes, rail replacement, charter and special events.
Our Drivers are highly valued and respected, strongly supported by our management team. We have excellent facilities to be enjoyed and best yet, a friendly and inclusive workforce. We are searching for passionate people who enjoy driving and want to service their community, whilst delivering exceptional customer experiences in the safe transportation of passengers.
Our Full Time Bus Drivers work 5 days per week and work a rotating roster, which includes some weekends, early morning and late-night shifts.
What are we looking for in our Driver's?
- A current Victorian MR or higher Licence
- Heavy vehicle driving experience is highly regarded, but not completely essential as we do provide extensive driver training
- Customer focused individuals with the desire to provide assistance to passengers when required
- Excellent communication skills
- Safe driving record
- High regard for safety, road rules and regulations
- Ability to obtain relevant medical and background clearances including Driver’s Accreditation (DC), Working With Children Card (WWCC)
