QA Engineer

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Quality Advisor to join a Perth-based project team supporting the delivery of major energy and resources projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide practical quality guidance and support across major project activities.
- Work closely with project, engineering, contractor and supplier teams to achieve quality outcomes.
- Review technical documentation and quality deliverables for equipment and material packages.
- Identify quality risks and support appropriate controls throughout project delivery.
- Coordinate quality inspections, audits and follow-up actions.
- Monitor quality performance and provide clear reporting to key stakeholders.
- Promote consistent quality standards and a positive quality culture across projects.
Experience Required
- An electrical background is highly regarded, however candidates from other disciplines with strong quality experience are encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience in quality roles within energy, resources or major project environments.
- Strong understanding of quality requirements across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
- Working knowledge of relevant Australian and international engineering standards.
- Experience reviewing technical documentation, equipment and material quality requirements.
- Exposure to quality inspections, testing, audits and risk assessments.
- Experience working with contractors, suppliers and OEMs.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and attention to detail.
- Relevant engineering qualification or trade background.
