SHIFT SUPERVISOR UNDERGROUND MINING (WESTERN AUSTRALIA) 7/7 OR 2/2 FIFO ROSTER OPTIONS
Your new company
Our mining client is seeking a highly competent Shift Supervisor to oversee underground mining operations in Western Australia. This role is available on either a 7/7 or 2/2 FIFO roster, offering flexibility for candidates seeking worklife balance or a traditional rotation. An S26 Supervisor qualification is mandatory.
Your new role
- Direct supervision of underground crews to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations
- Coordination of daily activities including development, production, ground support, and services
- Implementation and monitoring of safety systems, statutory requirements, and operational procedures
- Conducting prestart meetings, workplace inspections, and incident reporting
- Liaising with engineers, management, and other departments to maintain operational continuity
- Providing leadership, coaching, and performance management to ensure high standards across the team
What you'll need to succeed
Valid S26 Supervisor qualification (essential)Demonstrated experience in underground hardrock mining in a supervisory capacityStrong understanding of statutory compliance, safety legislation, and operational best practiceProven ability to lead diverse teams and maintain a disciplined, safetyfocused work environmentExcellent communication, organisational, and decisionmaking skillsCurrent WA CClass driving licence and relevant underground competenciesWhat you'll get in return
