Permanent Part-time $36.00 per hour
Recruitment 247 is seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker on behalf of our client. This is a rewarding opportunity to support an individual in maintaining their independence and quality of life within their home and community.
About the Role
You will provide person-centred support to a client who is a wheelchair user and requires assistance with personal care and mobility. The successful candidate will be compassionate, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality care and support.
This role involves:
- Personal care and daily living support
- Assisting a client who uses a wheelchair
- Use of a Sara Steady transfer aid
- Building a positive and supportive relationship with the client
- Encouraging independence while maintaining dignity and respect
- Morning shifts of 3 hours
- Evening shifts of 2 to 3 hours
- Availability across 7 days per week
- Additional hours may be required
Essential Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- Experience providing personal care and manual handling support
- Genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities
