Location: Parramatta 
Rate: $90-$125.70/hr + Super
Hybrid: 3 days in office

About the Role
 
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of digital solutions within a complex business environment. You will work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to understand business needs, define requirements and translate them into clear, actionable outcomes.
 
This role will suit a Business Analyst who is comfortable working across both business and technology teams and can manage competing priorities while ensuring solutions remain aligned with business objectives.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions with key stakeholders.
  • Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Gather, analyse and document functional and technical requirements.
  • Develop clear user stories and contribute to backlog management.
  • Translate complex business needs into requirements that technical teams can deliver against.
  • Maintain traceability between business requirements and delivered solutions.
  • Support testing and validation activities to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders, delivery teams and technical specialists.
  • Help ensure technology solutions align with broader business strategies and objectives.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 4+ years' experience working as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
  • Proven experience in business analysis within digital delivery environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including user stories and backlog management.
  • An understanding of relational database and client-server concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex requirements and competing priorities.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • The ability to confidently translate business requirements into clear technical requirements for delivery teams.
