Quality Control Analyst
- $40.18 per hour inclusive of casual loading
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm

We are currently seeking a motivated Quality Control Analyst to support the day to day production needs of a raw materials business. The position is responsible for raw material and packaging inspections, laboratory testing, product release activities, quality compliance, HACCP participation, GMP/GLP compliance, audit support and continuous quality improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspection, sampling, testing and release of incoming raw materials and packaging materials.
- Maintain retained and reference samples in a controlled system.
- Review supplier Certificates of Analysis and investigate quality issues.
- Conduct laboratory testing according to approved methods and document results.
- Communicate out-of-specification results and participate in OOS investigations.
- Authorise release of finished goods for dispatch where applicable.
- Conduct in-process and finished product sampling for microbiological testing.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
- Maintain laboratory housekeeping and comply with GLP.
- Assist with customer complaint investigations.
- Support internal, external and customer audits.
- Participate in HACCP activities and quality system reviews.
- Assist with GMP, quality and competency training.
- Conduct GMP audits and follow up the corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with WHSE and OH&S requirements.
- Work collaboratively with Operations, Warehouse, Production, R&D and Quality teams.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Quality Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Science or related discipline.
- Experience with laboratory testing and raw material quality control (not compulsory).
