- Design and execute diamond and RC drilling programs for exploration and resource definition.
- Manage geological data interpretation and collaborate with resource estimation specialists.
- Oversee hydrogeology, geotechnical drilling, and metallurgical test work.
Location: Western Australia and Northern Territory (FIFO)
Full Time – Minimum 2-year commitment
RESPONSIBILITIES
General Duties – Exploration and Resource Definition:
· Design and execute comprehensive diamond and RC drilling programs aimed at testing new targets and for upgrading resource confidence (Inferred to Indicated/Measured).
· Supervise geological logging, sampling protocols, and QA/QC programs to ensure data integrity for resource modeling.
· Manage the interpretation of geological data to build robust 3D geological and structural models.
· Collaborate with resource estimation specialists to deliver updated Mineral Resource Estimates in accordance with JORC standards.
Cross Functional Duties:
· Hydrogeology: Oversee the siting, drilling, and implementation of water bore networks for both dewatering requirements and operational water supply.
· Geotechnical: Manage geotechnical drilling campaigns and logging to provide critical data for pit slope design or underground stability analysis.
· Metallurgy: Ensure representative samples are collected and dispatched for metallurgical test work to define processing recovery parameters.
Collaboration & Communication:
· Liaise effectively with other site personnel to complete studies and planning to a technically high level.
· Liaise with mining engineers to ensure resource models are "mineable" and fit for production scheduling.
· Manage technical contractors and consultants, ensuring all work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required technical standard.
· Prepare technical chapters for Definitive Feasibility Studies (DFS).
