ARB Corporation Ltd is Australia's largest manufacturer and distributor of 4x4 accessories. As part of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking multiple experienced press brake operators to join our production team.

Position Summary:
We are seeking skilled and motivated Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining Trumpf, Darley and/or Bystronic brake presses to produce precision-formed mild steel, stainless and aluminium parts. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work to tight tolerances in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape components according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings accurately.
  • Work within precise tolerances (±1mm and ±0.3°) to ensure high-quality output.
  • Physically handle, lift, and support long or large parts during the folding process.
  • Select and change dies and tools based on material thickness and type.
  • Learn and understand the grain structure of aluminium and its effects on pressing outcomes.
  • Perform basic maintenance routines and care on press brakes.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet production goals and deadlines while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
  • Learn and support laser cutting operations and associated technology.
  • Problem solves issues when they arise.
  • Maintain 5S standards in your department


Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:

  • 2+ years of experience operating press machines, particularly Yawei machines, in a fabrication or automotive setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical instructions (SOPs) and engineering drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Forklift license and WHS/OHS training (advantageous).
  • Team oriented mindset with a commitment to safety and qualityReliable with a strong work ethic
