About the role

Based in accordance with AMO policies and procedures, this role ensures compliant, safe, and efficient completion and certification of maintenance tasks as directed by the supervisor. As a B1 or B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (B1/B2 LAME), you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational efficiency.

Key duties include, but are not limited to:

• Carry out and certify maintenance on aircraft mechanical, electrical, instrument, and radio systems (as applicable to licence category).
• Perform inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Accurately complete all maintenance documentation and electronic timesheet entries.
• Report defects promptly and maintain clear communication with supervisors
• Conduct aircraft ground handling, towing, and engine running duties as authorised
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment, including proper handling of tooling and equipment.
• Mentor and guide apprentices and AMEs in day to day maintenance tasks.
• Foster strong working relationships with colleagues and management.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Who We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate is a motivated and safety focused B1 orB2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer who brings strong technical capability, sound judgement, and a commitment to excellence.

• A current CASA Part 66 Aircraft Engineer Licence with B1 and/or B2 category ratings.
• Proven experience as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in an aviation or airline maintenance environment.
• Demonstrated experience working on aircraft types maintained by the AMO (desirable).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team focused environment.
• High level analytical, reasoning, and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Well-developed computer proficiency, including the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in use of maintenance control software.
• Ability to prioritise tasks effectively, take initiative, and maintain a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and compliance.
