Our client is an industry leader and household name within the energy sector. Due to growth we're seeking a highly experienced and self-motivated Electrician to join their thriving team. As a Solar Electrician, you will ensure high-quality and compliant electrical and solar installations. You will manage projects efficiently, enhance safety practices, and improve business systems. You will also mentor apprentices, support team members, and promote our core values.
The role:
- Install and maintenance electrical work
- Assess the environment, detect and mitigate any hazards associated with installation.
- Create installation maps ensuring components are installed according to those diagrams.
- Ensure all installations and service work is conducted at the highest quality standard in line with safety, manufacturing and building codes.
- Testing of various systems and make adjustments accordingly.
- Provide troubleshooting and fault finding
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Licensed Electrician (favourable)
- Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) Certified
- Grid Connected Solar PV Design/Install Accreditation (favourable)
- Solar Battery Storage Design and Install Accreditation (favourable)
- Strong technical experience with the ability to fault find and troubleshoot
- Experienced in installing and servicing solar systems (desirable)
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Ability to maintain calm during high pressure situations
- Strong desire to succeed professionally
- Strong willingness to provide high quality customer service and positive results for clients
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Strong attention to detail
- Be punctual, show initiative, motivate others and practice a positive can-do attitude
