MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with leading insurance clients across Sydney CBD and North Sydney as they prepare for a busy period, with multiple opportunities available for experienced Customer Service Insurance Agents across inbound and retentions teams.
These roles are ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced contact centre environments, enjoy building strong customer relationships and have a passion for delivering exceptional service.

- Employment type: 3–6-month temporary assignments, full-time work
- Hourly rate: $38-40 p/h + super
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 7pm (roster shifts)

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls in a busy contact centre environment.
- Respond to customer enquiries across multiple insurance products, including home, pet and boat insurance.
- Assist customers with policy renewals, premium enquiries, policy changes and general account maintenance.
- Handle retention conversations, identifying opportunities to retain existing customers and reduce policy cancellations.
The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in a contact centre or high-volume customer service environment - insurance experience preferred
- Strong communication skills with a genuine focus on customer care and the ability to handle difficult conversations confidently.
- High attention to detail with a results focused approach
- Confident using Microsoft Office and online systems
