We are seeking a skilled and commercially focused Procurement Specialist to join our central operations team in Brisbane CBD. This role is critical to supporting our store network by sourcing quality ingredients, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost-effective purchasing outcomes as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing, reviewing and negotiating variations to contracts, programs, projects and services with food suppliers and service providers.
- Responding to inquiries and resolving problems concerning contracts, programs, projects, services provided, and persons affected.
- Managing paperwork associated with contracts, programs, projects and services provided, including purchase orders, RFQs, and supplier agreements.
- Working with kitchen managers, finance, and operations teams to ensure procurement goals are met.
- Advising senior management on procurement matters requiring attention and implementing their decisions.
- Overseeing work by suppliers and contractors and reporting on variations to work orders.
- Preparing and reviewing submissions and reports concerning the organisation's procurement activities.
- Collecting and analysing data associated with procurement projects, and reporting on outcomes.
- Analysing spend, cost drivers and supply markets to identify commercial opportunities.
- Building strong supplier relationships and supporting supplier performance management.
Requirements
- Proven at least 5 years working experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills.
- Analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive savings.
- Proficiency in procurement systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- CIPS qualification or relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
- Current right to work in Australia.
