Access Equipment Hire Pty Ltd trading as Access Hire is the remote project specialist division of Access Group Australia, boasting the nation’s largest privately owned fleet of specialised access equipment. We facilitate the hire, selling, servicing and transporting of equipment from world leading brands. Specialising in a large range of equipment including: elevating work platforms, telehandlers, forklifts, reach stackers, generators and lighting towers, here at Access Hire we are able to deliver on jobs of any size. Access Hire prides themselves in provided the complete solution to their customers, which includes a specialist Service Department which is operated 24/7, with factory-trained service technicians and mobile vans allowing remote and on-site repairs and maintenance. Also providing a dedicated transport division, Low Loaders Australia, allows equipment hires to be delivered on time, safely and efficiently.
The Role
- Maintaining our fleet to manufacturer and company standards
- Performing regular maintenance, repairs, inspections, and servicing whilst maintaining compliance with Australian standards
- Develop excellent working relationships based upon mutual respect with all customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Assist with various other Workshop duties as required
- Maintain a strong safety focus.
This is a full time role is located in Adelaide SA, with salary range in line with skills and experience. The hours of work are Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm.
The successful candidate will be an individual who will honour our core values of People, Safety, Respect, Communication and Continuous Improvement - in addition to this they will have;
- 2 years or more experience in an equivalent mechanical role conducting services and repairs
- Trade qualified applicants
- Demonstrated ability to carry out basic electrical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and rectification
- An ability to take directions and instructions and meet set delivery schedules and installation deadlines
- Well-developed communication skills
- The ability to work in a dynamic environment autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to work and adapt in a dynamic ever-changing environment effectively, with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated commitment to quality; ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and be self-motivated
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Current and valid Driver's license

Salary range of $40 to $55 per hour
