Specialist Consultant - General Practice (GP) - 2573 per day
- Provide locum cover for a small aged-care facility in Queensland.
- Work on a shift basis from 0800 to 1700 with on-call duties.
- Contribute to improving health outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Locum cover is required from 21 December 2025 - 3 January 2027.

Please note that all rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading, where applicable.
Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
This is a small 14-bed aged-care facility in Queensland, offering the following services:
- Residential aged care
- Palliative care
- Non-dedicated respite care
- Transitional care
Location information
This is an Aboriginal community in Central Queensland, around 2 hours inland of Rockhampton.
Working in Aboriginal health can be challenging due to the complex care needs of many patients, but also very rewarding.
This opportunity will provide an opportunity to:
- Acquire knowledge and understanding of the complex determinants of indigenous health
- Develop cultural competence and understanding of cultural safety
- Contribute to, and potentially become advocates for, indigenous health outcomes
